Baby Things We Love: Bath Apron

So smart! My brother bought this Stay-Dry Bath Apron & Towel for us after watching me attempt to bathe the baby without (a) getting soaked myself, (b) yelling for someone to help me get James out of the tub, and (c) insisting yet again that there had to be an easier way to do this and if someone hadn't invented it yet I was going to have to do it myself. This ingenious invention closes around your neck with Velcro and ties around your waist like an apron. It's made out of cotton terry that both prevents you from getting wet and serves as a towel for your dripping baby. Simply hold the baby to your chest after the bath and bring the bottom of the apron up around him to dry him off.

It also has a convenient pocket for bath supplies and comes with a matching bath mitt. I recommend this for anyone planning to bathe his or her squirming child. It also makes a great gift because it's something that no one knows they're going to need and will definitely get a lot of use! The Stay-Dry Bath Apron & Towel is available at buybuybaby.com ($19.99).
